CraftMaster Release Notes: Beta 2
Below is a list of known bugs in the Beta 2 build of CraftMaster.
1. There are hundreds of blocks in Minecraft. The vast majority of the blocks work as you would expect in CraftMaster and they will all work by the time CraftMaster is ready for commercial release. However, there are a few Blocks, listed below, that we know do not work properly in this current beta build:
a. Magma Block
b. Nether Wart Block
c. Red Nether Block
d. Bone Block
e. Painting
f. Item Frame
g. Chorus Plant
h. Armor Stand
i. End Crystal
j. Shulker Boxes (all colors)
2. Sometimes, when executing a CraftMaster command that places a Structure Block in your Minecraft World, you’ll get the following error message within Minecraft: Cannot place block outside of the world. In most cases, this means that the chunk of the world in which the Structure Block was placed exists, but it is not currently loaded into memory. If this happens, please navigate your character within Minecraft near to where the block will be placed – you can check the coordinates in the command’s text – and then try to execute the command again (press the t key, then Command-V, then hit Return/Enter). If you still get this message, then:
a. Be sure that you have updated the Map of the target world within CraftMaster.
b. Be sure that you placed the structure so that the entire structure is on the map in CraftMaster.
c. Verify that you’re in the correct target World.
3. If you execute a command within CraftMaster that takes some time for complete, most often you will see the Thinking… icon and/or the cursor will become a spinning ball. In many cases the status bar at the bottom of the screen will also provide notifications to inform you of what’s happening. However, in some cases, there may be a delay before anything happens. Please be patient and wait for several seconds before you give up.
4. When using the Block Picker in the 3D workspace to change the blocks in a given object, if you choose a Block that changes based on it’s orientation (e.g., stairs or torches), CraftMaster may not place the block in the correct orientation. If this happens, you might need to do some clean-up after the structure is placed within Minecraft.
5. CraftMaster is designed to support the import and export of a broad range of 3D file formats. However, we have not yet had a chance to test them all. Below is a list of the file formats that have been tested for this beta build:
a. Import: .CMO, .NBT, .Schematic, .OBJ, .STL, .DAE (COLLADA), and .KMZ
b. Export: .CMO, .NBT, .Schematic, .OBJ, .STL
